Just came back from a church camp called TRANSFORMERS CAMP 2009. It was somehow boring and interesting~~ Lols. About 500 transformers (Dhat's what they call the participants) joined the camp. On the first day, they let us watch some scenes of Transformers 1 & 2. It was damn cold in the legacy hall~~ When they stop the movie ppl keep booing (cos they wanna watch more of it).When they stop it, they will explain about the scene they have just played. About the Satan trying to destroy and decieve and temp us like the decepticons (deception with an added "c").
Then the pastors and all the group ldrs passed us an egg which would just as well replace the glasses in the TRANSFORMERS movie, saying it will lead us to the Matrix or smth lik dhat~` LOLS.. Damn lame! They still said we must protect the egg (real one) with our lives. Then there were ppl going around trying to make us trade our eggs for coke.
Stupid ppl never trade their eggs. I traded mine. For 10 coke!!!
I think it's definately so worth it!! In the end, there was no prizes for keeping the egg so i made the right choice :) we were divided into four groups - Decepticons, Autobots, Dynasty of prime and the US army. I was in dynasty of prime.
At night they let us watch the movie called 17 again. I'm sure some of you watch before rites??~ Hahas...
On day 2, there was this game called the final battle, where the four groups will try to destroy each other's matrix. We made our matrix by placing our eggs into a box. Then there is one person who is supposed to protect the matrix, he is called the heart of the robot. Then there were ppl connected to each other which formed the 'robot'.
I was part of the arm.. But i was nort the limb dhat tries to hit and destroy other group's matrix. It was damn damn violent! Ppl kept knocking each other and i was squashed and cut my leg. Ouch!~~ =.=!!! It became so violent dhat the pastors had to stop the game and we returned to the hall where this pastor gave a very long speech and sermon.
Then it was game time where the friends we invited to the camp site came and played games and stuff. I never invited anyone thou..~~ There were four Ms in this event.
1. Mass games (it was raining so we never played any games)
2. Music
3. Movies
4. Makan (lols? Just to mention the food there sucks?)
Then there was this rock christian band performing. The drummer rocks! He is really very gud in drums! Then it was SLEEP TIME. The dorms there suck.
On day 3, we went to church and it was the end of the camp :) Buhbyes~~~ Zai Jian~~~ Sayonara~~
